Inspired by Madhubani Paintings

Madhubani paintings are primarily done by women from the villages of Bihar. The paintings are made on fabric, handmade paper, or mud walls. Different elements of nature and religious Hindu motifs are the subjects of the paintings. Cotton wrapped on bamboo sticks is used as  a brush and natural colors and dyes are used as paints. A distinct feature of the style is the amount of lines painted on the surface.
